Job Description

The school is seeking a Communication Support Worker to support lesson delivery using sign alongside a number of other strategies to maximise learning.This is a 29.2hr p/w role and is term time only. The role starts ASAP ideally but is able to begin in September for the right candidate.We are seeking someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, caring and dedicated
  • Team player
  • Patient, flexible, has excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working with young people.
  • Will be committed to the education of deaf students in an oral /aural mainstream setting
Requirements:
  • BSL Level 3 or above
  • Experience working with deaf students
  • Worked in secondary schools
