Job Description

Great opportunity to join a small, ambitious freight forwarding company based Barking.Previous shipping / freight forwarding experience will be beneficial but not essentialThe successful person will have energy and enthusiasm to work in fast paced shipping environment.Within this role you will be managing Shipments from start to finish.You will also be responsible for liaising with Clients and Freight companies, so excellent customer service skills and organisation skills are essential.Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent Russian language skills is a must.
  • Well-developed numerical and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach to solve problems
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
  • Dilligence and a high attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with current and new clients
  • Be able to work on your own initiative
  • Be prepared to work with customers in different time zones, mostly EU and Russia
    • The job may require some travel.There will also be an opportunity to be involved in business development, such as: rate negotiation, decision making, sales. The successful person will be happy to bring something new to the team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious who is interested in progressing their career into a supervisory role.All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
