Job Description

The role: Construction Project Manager Sector: Facilities ManagementProperty ManagementLocations: BelfastSalary: £35,000 to £50,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits packageOur client is a leading global service provider across hard and soft Facilities ManagementWe are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join them and lead a number of varied projects.The Project Managerwith a construction background, will join the Integrator Property Management Services team inBelfast, Northern Ireland.You will have experience in delivering construction based projects and have an excellent understanding of the principles and methodologies of managing them.This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a large government contract where you will have job security and be able to work on a variety of different projects ranging from a boiler and generator upgrade to the demolition and construction of a newbuilding.You will get to travel across the contracts estate working with contractors and suppliers and also building a strong relationship with clients.All about the job:

  • To manage and deliver construction projects through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Management of the Clients Supply chain in the delivery of Project works
  • Project values ranging from £20,000 to £5,000,000
  • Build strong stakeholder advocacy both External and Internal tothe business
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget and to the Clients satisfaction.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to Management and the Client.
  • Take ownership and accountability of assigned project(s)
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to Management and the Client
  • Engage and manage Sub-Consultants to carry out required works
  • Engage and manage Contractors ensuring health and safety is maintained on site at all times
  • Administer Construction and Sub-Consultant Contracts
  • Monitor and control activities in order to track the progress of the project
All about you:
  • Hold a Project Management Qualification (Prince 2, PMP etc)
  • Have worked in a Project management role and have experience of delivering projects from inception to completion.
  • An excellent understanding of the principles and methodology of managing projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
