Accounts Assistant – Excellent permanent opportunityREED Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be representing our client, one of Northern Ireland’s leading employers who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.This is a permanent opportunity and a new position due to growth.The JobWorking as part of a busy team, key duties will involve:Posting sales invoices and compilation of monthly sales summariesGeneration of monthly contract invoices, credit notes and reportsDaily banking for our Rentals departmentPosting journals to accounts systemCompletion of bank reconciliationsProviding copy invoices and statements as requiredProducing daily WIP reportsCompletion of customer retail spend analysisProducing regular analysis reportsIntrastat & EC Sales List PreparationCompiling sales ledger DD files for GBP/EUR and importing to bankAmending purchase ledger DD payments and importing to bankProviding cover for Accounts Payable in processing invoices and posting batches to the systemMeeting month end deadlinesThe PersonThe successful candidate will ideally:Possess relevant accounts administration experience in a fast paced and busy accounts departmentPossess previous experience of the aforementioned key duties and responsibilitiesHave previous experience of using accounts packagesBe able to demonstrate excellent IT proficiency and experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced levelIATI/AAT Accounting Technician Qualification would be highly advantageousGet in TouchPlease get in touch with Lizzy Lyons on and email an up to date cv to
