Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Account Assistant to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will need to be available immediately or at a maximum of one to two weeks’ notice.Key information:

This particular location has no public transport links you must be able to drive or live within walking distance.

Full time (Monday to Friday) – 9:00 – 17:30

Salary – up to £23,000

Interviews being held ASAP

The successful candidate will have some experience in a similar role

Duties will include:

Chasing customer debts either by telephone or email whilst maintaining a strong client relationship

Keeping logs of all calls to ensure outstanding debt is being chased up according to payment terms

Updating the database with customer receipts and information

Posting monthly statements

Escalating high outstanding debts to the management team

Liaising with the sales team to investigate discrepancies

Other ad-hoc duties as they arise
