Job Description

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator based in Samlesbury. As a Supply Chain Administrator - you will be part of SMSCMC UK which provides support to the both Tornado and Typhoon and on occasions Hawk aircraft in Saudi Arabia. This is a fast paced and varied role where no two days are the same, you will be liaising with a broad stakeholder base in a role that has a variety of challenges. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop within team and joining a team that encourage personal and professional development. Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Administrator will involve: - Compilation and analysis of reports using data from MRP systems and Microsoft Excel - Progression of orders to ensure that they are delivered in accordance with the customer schedules, working with all areas of the supply chain to include Wincanton, Procurement and the Joint Logistics team based in Saudi Arabia - Support to the team in managing their order books. - Running background reports and providing support in creating graphs and stats for internal review meetings. - Additional duties as per business requirement. Your skills and qualifications: Excellent analytical skills especially in Microsoft Excel Background in supply chain is preferred No specific qualifications required for this role however a strong grounding in Microsoft packages (Excel, word, PowerPoint,) is required. Knowledge of an ERP system would be desirable as would practical experience having used an ERP system. Previous experience in a customer service role would be desirable.
