Job Description

The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for several Machine Operators (Extrusion) to join our clients team based in the Port Talbot area.Rate of pay: £14.59ph inclusive of shift allowance (£31,864p.a) Hours of work: Full time / Continental 4 Shift Pattern(323): Averaging 42 hours per week/ Mixture of day and night shifts: Days: 06:00 - 18:00, Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Contract: PermanentWe are looking for machine/ production operators to join our clients well established team working on production lines and operating machinery.Responsibilities:-

Set-up and operate manual and automatic machinery on a daily basis
Recording of productivity, waste and quality data
Carryout visual attributes and physical dimensions inspection of the product to maintain quality
Perform machine maintenance and breakdowns
Participate in quality and productivity improvements activities
Undertake general housekeeping including cleaning machines, sweeping up etc.
Adhere to health & safety and company policies and procedures

Experience required:-

Minimum of 1 Years production/ manufacturing experience (essential)
IT literate
Good communication skills
Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Mechanically Minded
Quality and customer focused
Attention to Detail
