Job Description

Reed Tutors is currently searching for a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) tutor to provide personalised tuition for a Year 8 pupil in the OL13 area. We believe you possess the expertise and enthusiasm that align perfectly with this role.About the Role:

  • Location: OL13 area
  • Tuition Type: In-person
  • Hours: 3 hours per day
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a pupils educational journey.We are seeking a tutor who can deliver tailored support and foster a positive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one tuition to a Year 8 pupil with SEND.- Develop and implement customised lesson plans that cater to the pupils individual needs.- Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage the pupil and enhance their learning experience.- Monitor and report on the pupils progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.The ideal candidate will:- Have relevant qualifications and experience in teaching pupils with SEND.- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.- Be able to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.- Have a flexible approach to teaching and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
