We are looking for a new member of the AdditionalEducational Need (AEN) team with a can do attitude who to help support thisvision. Someone with experience in schools is preferable but not essential. Thesuccessful candidate will need to hold a GCSE qualification in Maths / English(or equivalent). The candidate fulfilling this role will be expectedto work effectively with individual students and/or small groups under thedirection of a class teacher/SENCO. Teaching Assistants will contribute to, andneed to demonstrate skills in, planning, monitoring, assessment and classmanagement. Teaching Assistants are expected to work as part of the school teamand contribute to plans to ensure the school meets its aims. The post holder must work within the relevantpolicies, codes of practice and legislation reporting any concerns to theappropriate person. The post holder must have good communication skillsto be able to inform, persuade, inspire and motivate students and providefeedback to other professionals and parents as required.
