Job Description

We are looking for experienced Warehouse Pickers with FLT Licences for our client based in Aylesford, Kent.Shift times will be-7:30am-5pm Monday to Friday6am-3:30pm Every other Saturday (this shift is required)Job description:

  • Physical unloading various goods by hand from containers onto pallets, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
  • Loading and unloading containers by hand.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
  • Taking goods to the appropriate storage space.
  • Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
  • Putting products into containers, such as boxes and crates, using bubble wrap or polystyrene chips, and then seal the containers ready for delivery.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
  • Following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.
