I have an exciting newly created role in Kent for a Bond ManagerIt would suit a Bond Manager or an Operations Manager or Warehouse manager or Compliance manager who have worked with a Bonded Warehouse / Customs WarehouseThis is a senior role based in Aylesbury for a one of the biggest privately own International freight and logistics company in the UK.The company has become synonymous with quality, reliability, and innovation, all delivered at the lowest possible cost. This, allied with continuous investment, has allowed the business to grow and become one of the UKs largest privately owned logistics andglobal trade management provider.To manage, co-ordinate and control the function to ensure conformity with HMRC regulations for the receipt, storage, internal movement and processing and delivery of all products.To ensure import and export documentation accuracy, compliance and retentionTo coordinate a robust and structured internal compliance process for all new customer set up and manage and improve reporting process to monitor each stage of all new customer set upsTo assist on other ad hoc projectsfor example, new bonded warehouse set-ups both in the UK, review of new supply contracts, validation of product codes and oversee amendment of excise and customs rates in ERP systemTo review existing processes and develop improvement of controls and processes required to comply with operational fiscal authority requirementsTo be subject matter expert on supply chain-related fiscal authority process and routines complianceTo select, train and motivate staff in the Excise function to meet both the departmental and business needsTo provide accurate and meaningful information on stock losses on bulk and finished product, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve problems and to minimise losses.To control, reconcile and maintain accurate records of all dutiable stocks on site in accordance with both HMRC regulations and business requirementsTo provide appropriate advice to management on Excise and Customs Duties, quotas and regulations to minimize costs in complying with HMRC requirementsPlease send me your most up to date CV for more details if you have worked with Bonded/ Customs Warehouses
