Job Description

Assistant Warehouse Shift Manager - Aylesford Shift Pattern - Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 07:00Every day Brakes delivers 1.5 million foodservice products from 2,000 trucks to thousands of restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, hospitals, and care homes in every corner of the UK. And were growing!Our Aylesford depot are currently recruiting for a talented Assistant Warehouse Shift Manager to join the Night Shift team!The role includes:

  • Health & Safety legal obligationsadherence to Company policies and procedures and ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhered to
  • Day-to-day team management to ensure achievement of productivity targets
  • Contribution to overall high levels of customer service
  • Support good stock management practices
  • Liaison with other operational departments
Youll have:
  • Strong commercial, analytical and communication skills
  • Good judgment in decision-making - ability to take responsibility for decisions and articulate reasons for decisions made in a transparent way whilst dealing with challenge effectively
  • We are looking for somebody who can act as a role model for the Company values, with a desire to assume responsibility and accountability in all relevant areas
  • Exposure to high volume, absorbing pressure when results are not going to plan
  • The ability to empower individuals and teams to act on customer feedback and insight.
