M&E Maintenance Role | Nottingham | Up to £38k | Static site - Well known RetailerOur client are a national Facilities Management provider who have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-skilled Building Engineer to carry out maintenance and repairs on one of their retail contracts in Nottingham. This is a chance to work on the site of a renowned multi-national retailer who are market leaders within the affordable home furnishing industry. The responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Building Engineer will be;

• Carrying out reactive & emergency breakdown, & planned preventative maintenance on a large static site.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of UPS, Generators, LV/HV, HVAC systems.
• Ensuring Health & Safety policies & procedures are complied with.
• Monitoring and controlling building management systems.
• Provide first line support to the retailer stakeholders.
• Working with specialist equipment such as BMS and PLC systems
• On call rota 1 in 4.

The ideal Multi-Skilled Building Engineer will have;

• Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanicalqualifications such as 17th/ 18th Edition, C&G Electrical Maintenance, C&G Level 2 Mechanical Maintenance.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience of working in a multi-skilled maintenance role
• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and BMS on commercial buildings.
• Ability to work under pressure and good verbal communication skills
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge, ideally with IOSH.
• Flexibility with hours, such as working weekends (1 weekend on, 1 weekend off) and bank holidays and on

If you are successful in this role as a Multi-Skilled Building Engineer you will receive;

• Salary up to £38,000 based on a 40 hour week.
• Holidays 33 (Includes Bank holidays)
• Standby rate of £125 per week whilst on the on-call rota (1 in 4)
