Quality Engineer £30,000 to £34,000 + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training and development Cambridge Quality Engineer required for a well established business who provide bespoke components to a range of industries. The company pride themselves on continuously investing and developing their staff and have an excellent working environment and culture. The successful candidate will be a quality engineer from ANY manufacturing background, those with experience working within the aerospace, fabrication/component production environment will be at strong advantage but this is not essential. You will feel confident conducting internal and external audits and have a firm understanding of ISO9001/IS4001. It is essential you are experience in 8D reports and engaging directly with customers and resolving their claims.The role itself is very hands on, you work closely alongside the production and inspection team on the shop floor. The company are looking for a candidate to come in and help them maintain and improve their ISO standards and help them gain their AS9001 accreditation, experience of this is desirable but not essential. You will be accountable for leading root cause analysis and championing corrective action investigations.
