Job Description

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGERNOTTINGHAM£30,000 to £40,000 + BENEFITS + PARKINGTHE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for a niche medical related business that sells there products globally to both businesses and consumers. Due to the continued success of the business, they are now seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead an existing team of Customer Service professionals.The successful Customer Service Manager will be responsible for streamlining the existing processes to create a customer centric operation to build stronger relationships and to increase sales order processing capacity to make the business scalable.This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Customer Service Manager to head up this key operational function within the business and grow with the organisation as they continue to expand.THE ROLE:

  • As the Customer Service Manager, youll be reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director. The successful candidate will be completely responsible for the companys customer service operation
  • Hands on leading & supporting of a small Customer Service team who interface with both B2B & B2C customers
  • Working closely with other stakeholders within the company to ensure smooth continuity of the production process.
  • Create & deploy a strategy to drive a customer-centric approach with a focus on a positive customer experience
  • Assessing current processes, implementing new processes using automation where possible and ensuring adoption throughout the team
  • Deal with end to end B2B and B2C customer service from taking orders, liaising with warehouse, distributors, customers and resolving any problems
  • Manage a hands-on, end to end customer service and order processing role whilst managing the customer service team
  • Being a key contact for the companys largest customer
  • Deal with pricing queries and manage quotations
  • The Customer Service Manager will be the escalation point for complex enquiries and complaints
  • Implement customer service systems and processes to protect revenue and increase efficiencys
  • Monitor quality, service, and delivery issues, and take corrective actions as needed in line with ISO specifications
  • Ensure all customer queries are managed and coordinated, involving any relevant personnel where necessary, and that suitable containments are in place to protect a reputation of quality, value and delivery performance
  • Support the sales team with occasional customer visits
  • Participate in weekly Management meetings and provide monthly Department reports
  • THE PERSON:
  • Must have current experience as a Customer Service Manager who has handled both B2B & B2C service operations
  • Experience of using SAP is essential
  • Excellent people management, coaching and development skills
  • A track record of implementing new processes and procedures to streamline functions
  • Strong communicator who has the ability to build lasting relationships and resolve complaints
  • Experience of supporting a field-based sales team
  • Ability to communicate in German at both a written and spoken level would be a significant advantage but is not essential
