Please go to our website to applyThe post sits within the ICT Service, and is part of the Councils Customer and Digital Services Directorate.About the jobThe Council has been successful in its £7.7m bid for funding to help address areas receiving poor broadband services across the City.In order to achieve the successful implementation of the project, we are seeking a Project Manager to co-ordinate, monitor and manage its day to day delivery. You will need to engage with internet Service Providers, Local Members, residents and businesses tofacilitate and co-ordinate fibre broadband roll-out.What We Are Looking For From YouYou do not need a technical background, however effective project management skills will be key to the success of the project.You must be able to communicate effectively, build relationships across the range of stakeholders and manage and co-ordinate multiple inputs and outputs.Additional informationThis post is temporary until 31st March 2025.The Supporting Information section of your application is the most important part.
