Job Description

Senior Social Media ManagerThe RoleMy client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Social Media Manager to own their consumer-facing social presence across owned, earned and paid social. This is a high-profile position which will place you at the heart of setting Social Media strategies for my client; redefining their social landscape, anticipating future trends and building social communities in order to drive revenue, channel and brand growth.You will develop a social engagement strategy for all social media channels to build communities, considering business and brand objectives. You will be responsible for creating a new era of social media for my client and be accountable for driving unprecedented growth in engagement and loyal followers.Responsibilities

  • Owning the social media strategy and executing this across social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube etc.
  • Responsibility and accountability for the success of my clients social presence, ensuring each channel delivers on set KPIs
  • Creating and maintaining a monthly social media calendar for each platform, leveraging market trends, social listening, brand marketing and business objectives to maximise relevance of storytelling to drive engagement, reach, and follower growth
  • Develop and build the Social Team to create a team of experts across organic, paid, content creators and influencers
  • Overseeing briefing of social media copy, usage of hashtags, and alignment with brand tone of voice
  • Regular reporting and campaign analysis
  • Overseeing the execution of social community management and moderation, working with the Customer Service team
  • Maintaining a direct relationship with social media platform representatives
  • Managing the social media budget to maximise ROI and achieve business plans
  • Defining framework and tool requirements for social listening and sentiment monitoring
  • Knowledge & experience for the role
  • 8+ years experience in social media
  • Highly ambitious to drive growth of the business, with proven history of exceeding targets and delivering profitable growth
  • In house experience within the retail industry is preferable
  • Proven track record with developing and implementing social strategies for well-known brands
  • Extensive knowledge of the major social media channels and managing platforms
  • Detailed understanding of social and content analytic tools and processes
  • Understanding of the technical landscape of social platforms (impact of algorithm changes etc)
  • Experience presenting to a wide range of audiences and ability to communicate at both a detailed, technical level and a senior, strategic level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a cross functional capacity
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence due to location of the company
  • Salary: Up to £60,000, depending on experienceHours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Required skills
