The phone rings.You answer it. They cant log on. You fix it. The phone rings, and you go again.Surely theres a better way to use your IT skills You want to help a business move forward, make decisions and outdo their competitors. Whats the challengeYou will join the BI and Reporting team and play an integral role in their reporting process. You will spend time testing their reports and ensuring that they are fit for purpose and easily readable from an end user perspective. You will support and coordinate any change or release requests and ensure that stakeholders are continuously updated, even when there is no significant change to their ticket. You will be constantly challenged, and it is therefore essential that you can remain calm and logical under pressure. This is a technical area that is deeply important to the success of the business and massive corporate decisions will be made from the reports that you help produce. You will ideally have an IT focused degree and some commercial experience in a technical role. You may be working in a service desk doing some incident management, or perhaps youve spent some time in a testing or reporting role. With that being said, the most important thing will be attitude. You will need to be bright, motivated and resilient. This role has come about due to internal progression so there is a real opportunity to join a business and move into other challenges internally once you have found your feet.
