We are seeking a highly skilled experienced Delivery Drivers of 3.5 tonne sprinter vans to join our experienced team.You will deliver food as a wholesaler to takeaways and restaurants within a 100-mile radius of Birmingham. You must be customer orientated friendly and smart in appearance combined with having good time keeping. You must also have strong communication skills and great attention to detail.This is a permanent stable role and an excellent opportunity for a very positive team player, spirited candidate to join our strong expanding team. It`s a fun environment where everyone works as a team. It`s hard work, with lots of heavy lifting.You need to have experience of heavy lifting of up to 25 kg.This job is not for those candidates who shy away from hard work and long hours.You will receive three months training with a senior driver as a driver’s mate at an annual salary of £21,500 first to learn the business and products. After your 3 months training you will have your own dedicated well-established round on a regular basis at an annual salary of £24,000.Key Responsibilities:• Learning the product range• Checking the stock before loading • Handling the stock carefully • Ensuring all customer orders are complete • Taking the invoices from sales team to give to customers • Cash handling • Deliver excellent customer service Personal Attribute:• Team player • Can Do attitude • Physically fit able to lift 25 kg • Organised with paperwork • Cash handling experience • Excellent customer rapport • Enjoys driving Days & Hours• Monday to Friday (every alternative Tuesday off) • Must work every Saturday. • One week will be a 5-day week; other week will be a 6-day week • 6:00am start for the first three months (Training) then 7:30am start after three months training.
