We pleased to present this exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse General Manager to join the senior management team of a fantastic client based in Runcorn working within a high-profile national health sector contract.Closing date 8th November 2021Package and benefits

£65k - £80k DOE and business transformation experience

Experience required

Experience at operating at a senior level with Director and Board level stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple shifts including an operation with circa 150200 warehouse colleagues
Proven ability in implementing operational change projects.
Proven commercial management is required to ensure financial success with P and L accountability.
Proven effective customer stakeholder relationships.
Functional stakeholder relationship management across Transport, Inventory and Customer Services.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be fully accountable for the performance and management of warehouse operations. This role offers the opportunity to define, plan, manage, and sustain organisation and operational change and transformationprojects that truly will make a difference.This is a full 360 role so you will be managing all aspects of inbound/outbound distribution, quality, compliance, stock, environmental, health and safety, and P&L management. You will partner the transport, inventory management, and customer servicesfunctions to deliver an end to end solution to senior customer stakeholders.Effective process and performance management is essential to ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met. Whilst ensuring resource skills and levels are consistent to support a rigorous management of continuous improvement programmes and embed a culture of employeeengagement.The ideal candidate will

Lead and manage the operations manager to deliver through their shift management team, coaching and developing their confidence and ability
Take responsibility for all compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental and quality standards
Set and manage operating budget keeping within targets
Be flexible and able to deal with change
Thrive under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing, volume driven environment
