Job Description

We are currently working with a leading care provider, tailored to providing care and support for children aged 9-16.On behalf of our client; we are presently seeking to recruit Residential Support Workersto work within a number of their Doncaster, South Yorkshire, homes.This role will be working alongside a small team of care and support workers providing bespoke support to children with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.The organisation specialises in providing best-in-class care and support for children and young people who have complex needs. They endeavour to create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the children and young people, enabling them to express theircharacters, feel safe and enrich their lives. Their homes are immaculately decorated and tastefully furnished, creating a real sense of comfort, security and positivity.Working as a Childrens Residential Support Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood. You must bedriven to ensure that the children and young people have an experience of childhood that they deserve, one filled with fun, laughter, friendship and discovery.Role Requirements:

  • Prior experience within a residential care setting
  • Prior child care or support experience
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) is advantageous
  • A full driving license would be advangtageous but not essential
  • A full, clear, Enhanced DBS
Work Pattern:
  • Working hours for this role are typically 12 hours per shift
  • you will have the opportunity to work from 1 to 4 shifts per week (12-44 hours)
  • You wont be obliged to work more hours than you choose and can be flexible which days you chose to work dependent on what suits you and which days require cover
  • This role can be part time and worked alongside other care roles with Staff One or your other work/personal commitments.
