Electrical Technician | Wymondham | Automotive industry | £25,000£30,000 | PermanentLangham Recruitment is supporting a leading Norfolk-based engineering organisation whose market-leading products are used by prestigious global automotive brands. They are seeking a Electrical Technician to join their manufacturing team. You will be workingon cutting-edge productswithin a growing company and working on electrical assembly, test and commissioning activities.Responsibilities:

• Control panel building, modifying and testing
• Assembly, test and inspection of looms, internally designed electrical products and electrical goods
• Soldering and splicing of wires and connectors
• PCB Soldering
• Reverse engineering of automotive components
• Products are distributed worldwide which offers the opportunity for travel (travel not essential).

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of a variety of electrical systemsideally with control panel building and/or automotive or related sector
• Experience with reading engineering drawings
• Wiring Loom and Harness experience
• Test and fault-finding experience
• Able to work within a team on large projects
• Care and attention to detail
• Willingness to work with others
• Eager to learn and help as required
• Electrical manufacturing experience desirable
• Must have a valid Driving Licence and be able to commute to the site near Wymondham daily

Desirable:

• 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations qualified
• Experience with electric motor cable manufacture
• Experience with CAN systems
• Exposure to electronics engineering and PCB soldering

Salary and Benefits:
