Job Description

Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, Conveyancing, Commercial Conveyancing, Sale & Purchase, Residential Property, Re-mortgage, Permanent, Ashton-under-LyneResidential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor is required by a well-established Multi-Service Law Firm based in Ashton-under-Lyne.You will be a Conveyancing Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE; this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor looking for personal and career development opportunities; allowing you to build upon your experience within a modern and dynamic practice.There is potential for the successful candidate to make partner.The Role & Essential Requirements:

  • Assisting Clients with Residential & Commercial purchases, Leases for assignments, Lease renewals, drafting agreements and dealing with Commercial enquiries.
  • The ability to deal with a caseload of:
  • Residential Property Transfers
  • Sale & Purchase files
  • Transfer of Equity
  • Deeds of Gift
  • Equity Release Schemes
  • Re-Mortgages
  • Purchase & Sale of Overseas Property.
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to engage with all aspects of Conveyancing, from initial instruction to completion, with minimal supervision.
  • Handling registered and unregistered files, as well as dealing with Land Registry Requisitions.
  • Compiling complex Completion statements and drafted Contract documentation.
  • Checking Contract papers and searches in addition to raising enquiries.
  • Dealing with Post Completion matters and checking Titles.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships and keeping clients fully informed throughout the process whilst maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
  • It would be advantageous for you to have knowledge of: litigation, family, matrimonial or wills and probate (experience is not required in all areas, just one other)
