Due to continued growth an opportunity is available for multi-skilled Joiners to join an established construction company based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. The Joiners will work across the North West and Yorkshire, and earn of £14.00 p/h along with overtime at time and a half.The CompanyTimmins Group Ltd is a unique family run business. They carry out work throughout the UK including general construction, refurbishment and maintenance, specialising in fire prevention and protection. Over the past 25 years their team has completed a wide range of projects from minor building works through to conservation works. The Timmins Group is engaged on large scale project works on long term framework agreements withnumerousbluechip clients. To date they have carried out work for clients including: the BBC, the Home Office, BAE Systems, the UK Border Agency, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defence to name a few.The RoleThe multi-skilled Joiners will have training provided where necessary and there are strong prospects for willing candidates to progress within the business. The Qualified Roofer’s main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Estimating materials needed for the job- Locating and repairing maintenance issues- Using technical drawings and specifications- Fitting fire doors, partitions, ceilings and windows- Maintaining fire doors, partitions, ceilings and windows, refurbishing faulty units where necessary- Working to building regulationsThe CandidateTo be considered for this role you will have experience in fire door installation and maintenance with relevant the qualifications.
