Job Description

Diamond Search Recruitment are excited to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design & manufacturing business. Recruiting for a Quality Manager based in Ashford, Kent. The successful individual will be the go-to person for all things related to Quality processes. You will undertake QC Reports, Quality Audits & Non-conformances.Up to £45,000 per annum.Main duties:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the quality of the products purchased, produced, fabricated, assembled, and installed, meet the company expectations and regulations.
  • Have a broad knowledge of ISO 900.
  • Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards, controls and specifications.
  • Work with the project departments to establish quality requirements from the supply chain.
  • Assess customer requirements and defining customer service standards, for quality purposes.
  • Liaise with other key staff members and provide feedback, training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience in the management of change and continual improvement program.
  • Understanding of the relevant ISO and BS EN-1090 standards.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience of manufacturing, production, and/or construction quality assurance and control.
  • Quality assurance: 2 years
  • ISO 9001: 2 years
