Job Description

A web agency working on bespoke software solutions across a wide range of industries is now looking for a PHP Developer currently have a small team of 3 developers which they are looking to expand.The majority of their development work is bespoke software solutions, built either on top of their in-house SaaS platform or as a software house services.These systems range from simple CMS websites, through eCommerce solutions and CRMs to full booking management platforms - and most things inbetween. Working with other open source systems or APIs where required or necessary.As part of this role you will be working alongside the companys Technical Director to develop new software as well as maintain, support and further develop existing systems.You must have good attention to detail and be able to write clear concise code that meets the requirements. You will need to be able to understand and write complex database queries. Good testing and debugging skills will be necessary.You will need to work directly with customers at times to understand their business requirements and what is needed from the software the company develops to support them. You must be a good problem solver and able to think critically in order to solve these customer needs.Key Requirements:

  • You will have at least 2 years experience working with PHP.
  • Required Skills: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Vanilla JavaScript
  • Desirable Additional Skills: GIT, Laravel, Blockchain, Cordova, Java, Ubuntu / Server, REST API
    • Our offices are based in Ashford, Surrey, close to the mainline railway station.They require all staff to attend regular team meetings in person. Although they are working remotely as is currently required, this position is not by default setup for the remote work.The company offers flexible working and an interesting workload.Benefits include:
