Our culture is one where everyone is welcome.Job description:Occupational Health AdvisorUp to £45,000 (DoE)Full time, permanent (with flexibility available on hours of work)Based in AshfordWe are looking for an experienced and qualified Occupational Health Advisor to provide a quality service that protects, promotes and enhances the health of all employees at work at the Ashford sitean integral part of the business at the leading edge inOccupational Health. To provide cover for one day per quarter at Andover mill as well.What youll be doing:

  • Completing health surveillance in line with legal and Premier standards
  • Conducting management referrals, advising managers and colleagues about health-related issues
  • Assisting in the absence management process in particular advising onlong-term absence issues, advising appropriate rehabilitation plans
  • Supporting on-site First Aiders
  • Working closely with the HR and Safety and Environment Teams both locally and centrally
  • Being the Health Sponsor, liaising with Champions promoting health and well-being
What we need from you:
  • Have at least two years experience in a similar role preferably gained in the food manufacturing industry
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Health
  • Possess good all-round interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to build and maintain partnerships with colleagues at all levels in thebusiness
