We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to work a split shift at a main dealership of Mercedes Benz based in Ashford.Alternate split shift working 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Monday to FridaySalary: Up to £52k depending on experience and qualifications + bonus + benefitsRole:• You will be carrying out maintenance and service routines as well as repairs and testing of vehicles• You’ll be responsible for the diagnosis of vehicle equipment• You’ll be helping with preparing vehicles for MOT inspections• You’ll be undertaking relevant training where required• You’ll be conducting brake inspectionsCandidate:• Will be an experienced HGV Technician• May hold qualifications in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance (desirable)• Could hold a HGV 1 licence (desirable)• Might have prior experience working on Mercedes Benz trucks• Must be able to work to deadlines• Could have prior working experience within a commercial dealership (desirable)• Should have a clean UK driving licence • Shall be punctual, reliable and flexible• Can provide junior members of staff with training where required• Will be a team player and have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues• Must be able to follow clear instructionsBenefits:• A lucrative salary of up to £20 per hour (c.£52k per annum) plus overtime• Wellbeing programme• Healthcare cashback scheme• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (33 days in 2023)• Cycle to work scheme• Interest free loans• Excellent training and Continuous Development Programme• Bonus schemeContact:• Shannon Smith• •
