Many of the world’s best-known brands count on CEVA to serve their markets - so why wouldn’t you join our team!Job description:About the RoleOur Transport Centre of Excellence team based at Ashby de la Zouch are looking to recruit a Strategic Planner, our Transport Centre of Excellence team is responsible for business growth by maximising the use of CEVA Vehicles through sound modelling and innovative solution design.Reporting into the Head of Carrier Management you will provide experienced analytical support and engage in best practice solution design, implementations, costings and presentations for both current and projected business propositions. You will undertake solution design projects independently, initiate the gathering and analysis of information from current and prospective customers to ensure quality, innovative, cost effective and operationally sound solution are designed and presented within the required timelines and standards. Support and collaborate with senior management with the production of internal and external proposals and presentations, take ownership of internal pricing metrics, conduct solution operational reviews alongside Business Development Project Managers to gain operational and financial sign off and assist in contract implementations and other “off site” projects.Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within transport logistics/solution design, a proven track record of supporting a wide range of projects and implementations with direct operational experience in transport planning and transport operational knowledge. Experience of producing cost models would be desirable.You will be computer literate, skilled in the use of assorted modelling software and transport systems, such as Paragon. It goes without saying that you will be an excellent communicator, possess good analytical and problem solving skills, have high attention to detail, be customer focused and a strong team player.Driving licence is required to travel to operations and customer meetings.
