Many of the world’s best-known brands count on CEVA to serve their markets - so why wouldn’t you join our team!About the RoleOur Business Process Excellence (BPE) team based in Ashby de la Zouch are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager, this role fits across our Contract Logistics, Ground and Rail functions and lead the optimisation and development of new warehouses and transport operations, providing resource for new business start-ups including the management of projects, solutions delivery and implementation of warehouse and transport efficiencies and other initiatives.As the Senior Project Manager you will manage and coordinate business projects and initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency, project manage the implementation of new business wins and renewals and provide support to the implementation of business improvement solutions to existing customers operations and if required other business units. You will prepare project plans, documentation and manage all project resources ensuring project delivery within agreed timelines and budget. Provide project status updates, ensure strong communication strategies and interact with business development teams to understand and have an awareness of pipeline projects. You prepare and deliver management presentations with internal and external customers, communicate regularly with the customer to discuss project status, provide lessons learned and ensure change control is effectively managed and reported to key project stakeholders.Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrable experience in leading and project managing new business implementations and transformation projects, preferably within a 3PL environment. You will be able to manage project scope and assess requirement changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk. Possess the ability to manage client expectations, anticipating operational and tactical risks, identifying and tracking requirements and issues resolving where possible and escalating when needed. Experienced in creating and maintaining project plans and project reporting throughout the project life cycle and able to produce, manage and plan project budgets.It goes without saying that you will possess exceptional communication, engagement and influencing skills with the ability to form strong client relationships, be an efficient and effective problem solver, with excellent presentation and report writing skills.It would be desirable if you have a good level of warehouse/transport operational knowledge.With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employee’s to grow, progress, develop and be part of our journey.
