Job Description

The Team & Focus of the RoleThis is an exciting role for us in our Ashby Estates Office. After many years, our fantastic receptionist has decided to embark on a new adventure. So were on the lookout for a new team member to welcome our many visitors and colleagues at our busy AshbyOfficeIf youre someone who enjoys providing a first-class client service to everyone that comes through the door and thrives in a varied fast-paced office working environment, then wed love to hear from you.This is a permanent full-time position (Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 5:15pm) and due to the nature of the role it will be fully office based.Duties will include:

  • First Line handling of all telephone calls into the Ashby and, as required Market Harborough Office. Directing and dealing with calls in a professional, efficient and effective manner at all times.
  • Covering Ashby reception desk. Welcoming visitors/callers/clients and directing them as appropriate/reporting their arrival to the appropriate colleague.
  • Organising and distributing all internal and external post, upon its arrival each day.
  • Arranging and managing collection of outgoing post in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensuring all incoming cheques are logged in accordance with RICS/Office procedure
  • Organising courier collections and signing for parcel deliveries
  • Ensuring all deliveries are packed away and the post room/kitchen areas are tidy and accessible to all
  • Managing the franking machine/postage costs and reporting as required
  • Efficiently managing the Exhibition/Display equipment
  • Assisting the Ashby teams with ad-hoc administration requests
