Job Description

Purchasing Administrator-Manufacturing SectorPermanent £17-21K per year + plus bonus + pension + childcare vouchers + 34 days holidayAshby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire37 hours per week, 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (4.30pm finish on Thursday)Are you experienced in working in a purchasing or procurement based environment looking for an admninstration role with an extremely well known company in the market place Plenty of training and career progression available.On offer is an exciting perm role that pays a competitive pay rate, profit related bonus scheme, company pension, company uniform, childcare voucher scheme and a generous 34 days holiday. My client is one of the UKs leading manufacturers and suppliers of In-Vehicle and Workshop storage equipment. They have been established for over 80 years with production facilities here in the UK, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout theworld. Due to an extremely full order book moving forward they are now looking for a administation member of staff to assist with obtaining goods and services at the best possible prices in order to support the companies production schedules. The role

  • Process all invoices received as quickly and accurately as possible and resolve any queries with the supplier and/or interval staff.
  • Using the SAP system to keep stock levels up to date, placing orders and expediting when necessary. Liaising with Stores to ensure minimum stock levels ae maintained.
  • To source and recommend suppliers who are capable of meeting, in full, the provision of goods and services, which are exactly in line with the Companys requirements.
The person
  • Strong administration experience within a procurement department.
  • Good IT skills are essential including Microsoft Excel, Word and Email, and ideally have knowledge of using SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with suppliers and internal staff at all levels.
  • Full UK driving license as they may be required to attend off site supplier meetings
