Job Description

Purchasing Administrator, £22-24k, Hybrid working 8.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday 6 month contract (poss perm)As the workload gets busier and sales are booming this means an increased workload for the Purchasing Team - thats where you come in!Sales and purchasing work hand in hand and having worked in a purchasing role you will understand that everyone needs to be pulling in the same direction.As the purchasing administrator you will keep the wheels turning, the suppliers happy and the purchase orders flowing! As an experienced administrator you might want to take the next step into a purchasing role where youll participate in supplier management, RFQs, compare costings, place and expedite orders. SAP is the system of choice, but dont worry if you havent used it, training is on hand if neededYou will be used to a fast-paced environment where you are juggling lots of parts, making sure that they all drop into the right place at the right time.You love speaking to suppliers, preparing requests for quotes, placing orders, expediting orders and performing cost comparisons using both SAP and excel on a daily basisThe company is a global player and operates in a myriad of industries, headed up by a very talented and passionate Senior Leadership team who are all extremely approachable.If this purchasing administrator position has grabbed your attention and you want to try a contract, we want to hear from you !There are decent working hours Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, hybrid working available and a shut down over Christmas so you can have a well earned break !
