Job Description

Production SupervisorLocation: Ashby-de-la-Zouch, UK Salary: Competitive, Depending on ExperienceHours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:15am - 4:30pmFriday 7:30am - 12:15pmOverview:Hardman Grey Recruitment is currently seeking a Production Supervisor on behalf of our client. The successful Production Supervisor will be responsible for;

  • The day to day management of the production environment
  • Signing off products and overseeing the completion of documentation
  • Provide training, recognition and participating in management meetings
  • Managing a team of 10 colleagues
  • Ensuring company policies, procedures and employment laws are followed
  • Improving and maintaining manufacturing processes and efficiencies
  • Using resources efficiently and effectively
  • Achieving objectives and manufacturing goals
  • Ensuring Environment Health and Safety standards are followed
Ideally the Production Supervisor will;
  • Have a minimum of 4 years experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing
  • Be capable of using Microsoft excel and comfortable with using excel formulas
  • Understand time attendance systems
  • Be flexible in working some weekends
  • Have a strong character to lead a team
  • A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Technology or Business Administration
