Job Description

Personal Insurance Handler AshbySalary - £25,000 - £28,000We are working with an established insurance broker who is looking for a Personal Insurance Handler to deal with predominantly private motor, household buildings and contents insurance, together with some High Net Worth motor and household, travel, pet andother associated business.The Role:

  • The successful Personal Insurance Handler will be responsible for dealing with renewals, mid-term alterations and new business quotations.
  • You will deal with client queries on the phone, by email and face to face.
  • You will provide a comprehensive customer service to meet the insurance needs of a range of clients.
  • You will join a long standing team who will provide training and guidance where necessary
The Required Skills:
  • Previous experience within insurance is essential, ideally within personal lines
  • Experience of one or more of the following classes of business. Motor Insurance, Household Insurance, Home Buildings Insurance and Contents Insurance, Travel Insurance and Pet Insurance would be ideal.
  • Candidates from an Insurance Company or Insurance Broker background will be considered for this Personal Insurance Handler role.
  • Strong IT, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and individually
  • Acturis or Open GI would be an advantage, but not essential.
