Permanent Clinical Director - Ashby-De-La-ZouchType: Small AnimalLocation: Ashby-De-La-Zouch (Pleasant market town and surrounding countryside, at the centre of the National Forest but easy access to Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, and London)Practice: First opinion small animal practice that is part of a larger groupTeam Info: Looking to expand their current team of 7 vetsFacilities: Brand-new purpose-built surgery that is well equipped with:
  • Digital x-ray system
  • Dental x-ray machine
  • Ultrasound & ECG
  • Idexx in-house analysers (latest models), including, the new Sedivue Urine Analyser
  • Air Conditioning
  • Fully computerised
  • Stainless Steel and Cat-Friendly Kennels
  • Diathermy & ECG
  • Ambulance – new and customised
Role: Due to continued success, they are looking to welcome a Clinical Director to join their friendly practice. As their Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the practice and will work to drive forward clinicalservices, commercial performance, and team development. You will have a passion for delivering the best possible service and outcomes for patients, clients, and associates.Hours:
  • 40-hour working week
  • 4 or 5-day working week
  • 1 in 6 full weekends with time back in lieu the following week
  • No OOH’s duties
  • They are keen to support specific interests, especially if you are working towards or currently hold a certificate relevant to small animal primary care practice.
Candidate: The ideal candidate for the role will be an experienced vet ready to take the next step in their career or a Clinical Director who is passionate about leading a highly respected and long-established practice.Your role will be an exciting and varied one. You will be responsible for line managing the lead vets and senior leadership team at the practice. Your clinical work will have a mixture of in-patient care time, surgery, and consultations, and you will havethe opportunity for case continuity and to build great rapport with your lovely clients.Salary: Competitive salary of up to £73,000 p/adependent on experience.Benefits:
