• Have a great understanding on servicing our equipment to prevent operational failure to maximise the output of our production, including troubleshooting.
• Manage a robust Preventative Maintenance Programme across not only our plant but the wider facility with exceptional facilities management skills.
• Manage Capital Expenditure projects, defining the projects objectives and ensuringprogress is to plan, as well as tracking project achievements, acting as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment.
• Recommendnew process and tools to achieve advanced project management.
• Manageall assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership. Acts as a single point of contact for project status. Maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other departments and outside contractors during normal operations, improvement, or equipment upgrade projects. Departments include: Environmental, Health and Safety, Manufacturing.
• Be responsible for departmental budget & parts inventory
• Provide repair and maintenance of all production machinery i.e. aerosol filling lines, pumps, and electrics to 18th Edition British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
• Ensure all general repairs to the offices and premises are undertaken effectively.
• Plan and undertake project work as required e.g. alterations to premises.
• Be responsible for the care and safekeeping of all tools and materials and ensure the security of the engineering store.
• Be responsible for the ordering of all spares and building materials and the checking of invoices, in liaison with the Purchasing Department.
• Attend daily production speed meetings.
• Maintain full compliance with personal and site safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Be as flexible as possible and carry out any other duties within the department which may be required.
• Be a trusted official key-holder

Other Requirements

• Ideally educated to degree level in engineering or equivalent, but not essential if you have the experience were looking for
• 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations certification or equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role, but will consider those ready to step up to management with demonstrable skills and experience
