Job Description

Maintenance Engineer Location: Ashby de la ZouchSalary: Competitive, depending on experience + BonusHours of Work: Monday to Thursday (7am-4pm), Friday (7am-1pm)Overview: Hardman Grey Recruitment is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client to carry out maintenance of machinery and general repairs.The successful Maintenance Engineer will;

  • Be responsible for responding to breakdowns and reducing downtime
  • Actively plan and carry out preventative maintenance on production machinery such as electrical motors, pneumatic pumps, Z blade mixers, mill machines and other electrical or mechanical equipment
  • Be qualified and able to work at heights of approximately 12 meters
The Maintenance Engineer will be required to have:
  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • 18th edition electrical qualification or equivalent working knowledge
  • An IPAF qualification for working at heights
  • The ability to work on single or three phase machinery
  • An understanding of Atex and its limitations
  • Experience with SEMA (racking maintenance)
Benefits:
