Job Description

The Team & Focus of the RoleAt Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do. This is a unique opportunity for you to join a leading Rural Client Accounts team in a role where the focus will be the financial management of a portfolio of rural clients and the propertiesheld within their portfolios. This role will be to focus on assisting the team as a whole during high work levels and be responsible to joining various portfolios on an adhoc basis.This will include responsibility for specific ledger balances and associated financial transactions, reporting the financial data directly to the client with commentary and supporting documentation. This role will suit you if you really enjoy building relationshipand liaising with external clients & internal clients such as asset managers and property managers. Equally important is having a drive for exceptionally high attention to detail and previous experience of managing accounts and keeping financial records upto date as much as possible.This is a full-time role (37.5) for 12 months and will be based from our Ashby de la Zouch office, we do operate a hybrid working policy however this individual will need to travel to the office on a regular basis so unfortunately we cannot consider remoteworking.In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:
  • Recording of transactions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate & timely processing of payments, amounts & records
  • Liaise with third party providers, clients and suppliers
  • Preparation of reports
  • Filing of VAT returns
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
The successful candidate will have...
  • Working knowledge of Propman (desired, not essential as full training will be provided)
  • An understanding of Property and Rural Accounting (desirable)
  • Previous accounts experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant
  • Experience of working on multiple accounts/portfolios and stepping in to assist during high work levels
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact and deal with surveyors/clients/third Parties
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent time management skill
  • Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
