Job Description

The Team & Focus of the RoleWe have a really exciting opportunity for a Head of Change within IT to come and join our team in Ashby, leading a portfolio of change projects. Leading a small team of Project Managers and an Implementation Coordinator, you will be working with the IT LeadershipTeam and wider stakeholders to drive a culture of change excellence and innovation.You will have a proven track record of managing and delivering IT change programs, with a focus on driving business transformation and innovation. The position offers the chance to immerse yourself into our business strategy and change agenda as well asmake a measurable impact on how our business responds to exciting challenges ahead.This role will be based in Ashby, and although we do operate a hybrid working policy, it’s essential that you’d be able to commute to Ashby weekly. Our standard hours are 08:45am - 5:15pm (37.5 hours), however we’d be open to discussing flexible workingrequirements with minimum working hours of 30 per week.In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:
  • Develop and implement the IT change management strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the IT change management team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of IT change programs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise IT change initiatives that drive business transformation and innovation.
  • Ensure that IT change programs are delivered in time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of IT change programs.
  • Create change management strategy in conjunction with senior leaders.
  • Drive stakeholder management and engagement activities.
  • Engages and manages leadership team in planning, scheduling, and deploying change management processes.
  • Works to manage risks and resolve risks as necessary.
  • Accountable to ensure a structured Change Management Methodology and process across the portfolio.
  • Identifies programme deliverables and respective owners across all the change domains including change strategy, impact identification and readiness, learning and development, stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Leads, plans, manages, and directs organisational change management initiatives.
  • Develops targeted communications to create programme wide awareness and gain change commitment.
  • Advises and supports Communications and Change with day-to-day accountabilities for Change and Communications for IT projects.
The successful candidate will have...
  • Proven experience as a Head of Change (for IT Projects) or similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience delivering complex change, in a lead role.
  • Certification, expertise, and experience of delivery in a leading change management methodology, PROSCI etc.
  • Experience leading a portfolio of change projects at organisational or divisional level.
  • Ability to think strategically as well as an attention to detail that ensures a high quality of work.
  • An organised team player willing to develop the role and the team.
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of managerial and operational staff.
  • Show flexibility and curiosity in responding to challenges with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
