ASSISTANT/JUNIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER - PASSIVE FIRE - ASHBY/MIDLANDS - GBP45KHunter Mason are recruiting for an Assistant/Junior Contracts manager for an established, accredited Passive Fire Protection company based in the Midlands.This role would be perfect for a SSM, APM or PM looking to progress within a company.The company are accredited fire protection specialists, with expertise in fire protection through the installation of passive fire protection materials and systems, to create fire containment in order to protect life, safeguard building structure, protectassets and maintain building serviceability after fire.WHAT YOULL BE DOING Help manage site activities for the safe, efficient and cost effective delivery of our installations Assist with the management, co-ordination and motivation of site teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Assist with the management of all aspects of health & safety and environment in relation to our site activitiesWork with and communicate to the rest of the company information from our contracts. Help to generate repeat business as a direct result of the successful management of our works, the delivery of quality and the relationship with our clients Help the contracts team in the management of sites and site teams on an on-going basis across the UK mainly in the Midlands Manage and control Health and Safety and Environmental activities with the help of our health and safety advisors and contracts teamAttend and contribute to weekly contracts meetings. Attend and contribute to site contracts meetings in conjunction with contracts team as or if required. Ensure that work practices and documentation are completed to and FIRAS standards WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Experience working within the Passive Fire Protection industry. Experience of working on construction sites and the successful delivery of projects Have a minimum of 5-day SMSTS course together with a CSCS Managers CardWHATS IN IT FOR YOU Up to GBP45k + Car Genuine growth within the company up to Contracts Manager and beyond.
