Applications Engineer - HYBRID ROLE. We are seeking a Mechanical Applications Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that this global power generation company meet specific customer requirementsfor New Build and Services tenders. Your expertise in reviewing international technical specifications and geographical regulatory requirements will be critical to our success. Company benefits include:- Pension - Employee 4.5 / Employer 7% - Life Insurance - 4x salary - Hybrid working - 3 days in the office / 2 days work from home. - Employee Recognition Annual Awards and Long Service - Rewards Platform (online discount platform) - EAP (Employee Assistance Provider) Applications Engineer Responsibilities:- Review and provide comments on detailed engineering project specifications during the tendering process. - Utilise the heat exchanger design program for tendering purposes. - Create tender outline drawings using AutoCAD. - Prepare engineering specifications for purchasing auxiliary items for the generator. - Coordinate and lead effective responses for Technical Regulatory & Standards (TRS) compliance. - Maintain a database of standard comments related to regional technical regulations for future use in tendering activities. Applications Engineer Requirements:- Drawing office experience - Spec reading (and comment on customer requirements) - Good knowledge on international standards, TRS (Technical Regulatory standards) - Ability to produce CAD drawings for customers 20% drawings 80% spec commenting and costings. - Strong Autocad- user Hours of Work: 1pm finish on a Friday (37 hours, Mon - Fri permanent days)
