Many of the world’s best-known brands count on CEVA to serve their markets - so why wouldn’t you join our team!We are currently looking for a dynamic and pragmatic Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance Team based in Ashby to ensure that accurate and timely accounts payable tasks are carried out in accordance with company procedures.With line management responsibility for a small team of two Accounts Payable Assistants, this role will own the relationship with Infosys, our off-shored service provider based in India, and will be integral to streamlining processes and ensuring that service issues are resolved at source.Key responsibilities:

  • Execute all direct, manual payment and foreign payment runs to ensure payments are made correctly and in a timely manner in line with group policy.
  • Act as approval route for amendments to supplier details in JD Edwards and OFS system, ensuring that all requests for amendments are appropriately checked, documented, authorised and actioned.
  • Day-to-day supervision of the Accounts Payable Assistants, providing guidance and support as required, handling any complex accounts payable queries and overseeing quality of work on completion.
  • Conduct annual appraisals for the Accounts Payable Assistants and identify training and development needs.
  • Day-to-day Management of Infosys, hold regular meetings and provide feedback and improvement areas. Give them support and guidance where required.
  • Adhoc project and systems development work as required.
  • Responsibility to manage the accounts payment function across both contract logistics and Freight management. This requires the use of two accounting systems (JDE and OFS) and separate payment processes.
  • Hold meetings with Accenture team to continuously improve performances, resolve issues, provide updates and review KPI’s.
  • Provide training to sites with regards to the accounts payable processes to ensure all are fully compliant with company policy.
  • Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of interacting and engaging with an off-shored Accounts Payable service partner and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of improving and streamlining processes. You will have experience of dealing with multiple suppliers across a broad range of industries and will be used to working with multiple ledgers and currencies with experience of cash flow forecasting. The ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders along with exceptional problem solving capability are also key requirements for this role.
