Job Description

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a key client in Appleton who are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their small HR team. You will work with all line managers to ensure that they are fully supported in their roles. This roleis ideal for an HR professional looking to develop into a managerial role.The salary is to £36k and the role requires you to be on site in Appleton 5 days per week. This is a full time role.Key Accountabilities

  • Manage your own complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. Assist to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Work closely with all line managers to ensure all processes and procedures are implemented correctly.
  • Advising managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them
  • Developing and implementing policies on performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management
  • Carry out and support change management processes
  • Analysis of training needs in conjunction with department managers and create an annual training plan
  • Maintain all employment records, ensuring payroll is advised of any changes
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and personal specifications
  • Interpret and advise senior management on employment law changes
  • Support with the recruitment of new staff, including the induction process for all new employees
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
  • Proven HR generalist experience of three to five years ideally
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
  • Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising
  • Report writing on HR activity and proposed recommendations on how improvements could be made for the benefit of the company and its customers
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
