Mill OperativeJob type: Full time, Temporary to PermanentHours of Work: 11am - 7.30pm Monday to FridayRate of pay: £10 per hourAn excellent opportunity on offer for a Micro Ingredients Controller to join an established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of York on a full time temporary to permanent basis.This is the ideal role for a General Operative from a manufacturing and production background, looking to further their career within a successful company.As a Micro Ingredients Controller, you will be responsible for the timely weighing of ingredients to ensure that production requirements are met as well as ensuring stock is rotated correctly and ingredients are suitably controlled.Main Tasks * Ensure feed is manufactured accurately and safely, including hand weighing certain materials* Ensure correct stock rotation and control of ingredients* Maintain high levels of plant hygiene, keeping all areas clean and tidy * Accurately complete production records and any other documentation required* Movement of ingredients from delivery point or store 1 to mezzanine or weighing room in a safe and timely manner* Ensure waste packaging is managed including baling and waste removal from mill* Inputting batched micro ingredients in to the hand tip point and scanning to record batch tracking* Ensuring carousel stocks levels are maintained* Weekly clean of dust extraction unit* Regular stock takes and control of ingredients* Adherence to safe working practices and health and safety instructions including strict guidance and robust protocols introduced to minimise the risk of spread and infection with Covid-19To be considered for the role of a Micro Ingredients Controller, you must have:* Excellent punctuality* Strong IT and Numeracy skills * The desire to succeed and progress* Knowledge of an industrial environment* Clear verbal and written communication* Effective time management* Meticulous attention to detail ,particularly for stock takes* Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team in an accurate and methodical way.* Positive, flexible and mature attitude to completing tasks to a high quality standard* A strong level of physical fitness due to the demands the role can exertDue to the location of the client, your own transport is essential.Interested Dont hesitate!
