Job Description

We are working with a prestigious Medical Communications agency in Altrincham seeking a skilled Studio Manager to join and help oversee their talented creative team.This agency have been established over 25 years and have become one of the leaders for creating stunning content and communications within the healthcare sector. The Studio Manager will be working closely with their Senior Designer, Midweight Graphic Designer and Senior Artworker whilst also liaising with their account management team and external client partners. The Studio Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of all creative projects. Using a hands-on approach, you and your team will consistently deliver outstanding work to tight deadlines.The role - Day-to-day management of the design and artwork team.- Effective planning, briefing and distributing workload.- Delegating daily projects and work to the most suitable design team member.- Proofing work to the highest standards and in accordance with Brand Guidelines where necessary.- Working across the best practices within print, digital and desirably video and motion graphics.- Fostering a collaborative team environment where members support each other to achieve shared goals.- Work closely with all Account Managers and Pharmaceutical clients.Requirements- 5+ years previous experience working in a fast-paced creative agency environment, managing a small team and the ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential.- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a design team to execute day-to-day best practices.- Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Powerpoint.- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects would be advantageous.- Strong verbal communication skills, confidence to liaise directly with Directors with external clients.- Meticulous eye for detail, proof-reading copy and overseeing design quality.- Ability to oversee and delegate work across varying budgets and deadlines.Overall, this is a pivotal role to join such a prestigious Medcomms agency as a Studio Manager working with the largest pharmaceutical brands in the world.
