The position of Purchase Ledger Assistant is based within an ambitious and fast-growing organisation consisting of multiple businesses. The role is key to ensuring the accounting function has an excellent foundation and requires meticulous attentionto detail. Duties include but are not limited to:o Ensure all invoices are correctly authorised, allocated to the correct cost centre and accurately processed in accordance with company policy within a timely manner.o Ensure invoices are correctly matched against purchase orders.o Responsibility for account maintenance, including new account set up & regular statement reconciliations.o First contact for all supplier queries and management of supplier relationships.o Daily maintenance of cashbookso Post and match receipts and expenditure on appropriate ledgers daily.o Daily monitoring of incoming emails to accounts inbox.
