ELECTRICAL HV DESIGNERThis client is known for delivering a wide array of iconic and award winning projects within the construction industry across the UK. This highly respected client is currently looking for an experienced electrical designer with a focus on high voltage (HV)systems to join their skilled and loyal team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing HV electrical systems for a variety of projects and ensuring that they meet all necessary safety and compliance standards. The Role:* Design HV electrical systems for a range of projects, including power generation, transmission, and distribution systems* Use software tools to create detailed schematics and drawings* Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project requirements, including cost, performance, and safety considerations* Conduct calculations and simulations to ensure that designs are optimal for the intended application* Review and revise designs in response to feedback from clients and other stakeholders* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulationsPersonal Requirements* Degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on high voltage systems* Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations* Excellent communication and collaboration skills* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.Benefits* Attractive salary and benefits package available for the right candidate.* Relocation assistance availableSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
