Job Description

  • Remote roles so you can be UK or Europe based . Our client based in Bristol (UK ) are a busy Global FinTech software provider to the worlds top banks.
  • Ideally based in the UK, but will happily consider applications from candidates across Europe. These positions are fully remote.
  • Our client are looking for Junior UI/UX Designers to join a growing team that designs market-leading financial software. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain expert knowledge, working in a fast-expanding FinTech industry.
You will be an individual with a curious mind, who is obsessive over pixel-perfect details, knowledgeable about working within design systems, has excellent UX/Figma/Sketch skills and passion for design and user experience. you should have a Solid portfolioof work in Figma or Sketch .We are looking for a team player whose eyes are set on becoming an expert in UI design and UX research within Fintech industry.What you will be doing Reporting to the Senior UI/UX Designer, you will consistently deliver a high standard of work, as well as collaborating with international development teams and stakeholdersHelping stakeholders shape requirements through UX and design thinking exercisesUtilising a design system in your design workDesigning financial software for a wide range of international clientsWorking with Development during handoff cycles and providing support.
  • Conducting UX Research and User Interviews
Report UX Research findings to Senior UI/UX Designer and other members of UI/UX team Producing prototypes and designs in Figma, creating documentation for development Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescalesExperience Design Skills Good understanding of common UX patterns Understanding of working within a design system and design principles Designing for scale Keen eye for detail, with passion for pixel-perfection Proficient in Figma, with good knowledge of shared libraries and styles Understanding of design needs within enterprise-level applications Familiarity with Design ThinkingUX & Technical Skills Good understanding of HTML/SCSS, JavaScript, responsive layouts Familiarity with Angular UX Research skills User Interview skillsNice to haves Problem solving and positivity in high-pressure situations Experience in FinTech would be advantageous Understanding of financial services industry Basic familiarity with Typescript Familiarity with Affinity Designer or Adobe IllustratorBenefitsstart salary to £35,000UK - Supportive holiday package - Includes 25 days annual leave rising to 28 (with length of service) Plus ability to carry over up to 10 days into the next holiday year Company pension scheme matching up to 5% of salary - Additionally, you can choose to make your contributions via Salary Sacrifice Group Life Assurance - Up to 9 times your annual basic salary Group Income Protection - Up to 75% of salary Private Medical Insurance - Which can include family cover Free onsite parkingBenefits will vary per countryUI/UX designer , html css , javascript, angular, figma, sketch , affinity , fintech , banlk design , portfolio , remote , home working , bristol , europe , france , germany , spain , italy , netherlands , spain , poland , uk , ux, ui
