Job Description

Our innovative client, a Microsoft Gold Partner with seven major competencies is looking for an experienced Technical Pre-sales Engineer. If you would like to join a technical led organisation and are a passionate, enthusiastic all-rounder with experience of supporting end users, then this is the role for you! This person must be able to articulatethe companys technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.We are looking for someone with all-round high-level consultative experience in small and medium businesses, ideally at another Managed Services Provider.This role will be primarily working on delivering technical projects and providing pre-sales support to a Sales team. The Sales & Project team is responsible for providing technical solutions to new & existing corporate customers on Azure Services, Office365, WVD/Windows 365 and Windows Server/Client based technologies.The successful candidate will be confident and outgoing with an excellent telephone manner. You will have great communication skills both written and verbal, be self-motivated and have the ability to work without supervision.The ideal person will have support experience with the following skill sets:

  • Microsoft Operating Systems, Desktop and Server
  • Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, Office 365
  • AD synchronisation using AADConnect
  • Excellent Microsoft Office application knowledge
  • Network administration (Firewalls, Shares, permissions, configurations, CCNA, etc.)
  • Azure skills
  • Intune, Autopilot & Application Deployment
Responsibilities and Attributes:
  • Communication with clients and team to ensure that customer satisfaction levels are upheld.
  • Good all round technical support and problem solving skills (Windows 10, 7, MSFT Office, Desktop Applications, Remote Connectivity, Desktops, Laptops, Printers) (Exchange and Active Directory)
  • Experience in installing, supporting and administering the following technologies: Windows Server, Windows Desktop OS Virtualised systems, cloud systems, Backup and disaster recovery systems, Remote Monitoring and Maintenance (RMM) systems, Service DeskSystems.
  • Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • To attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
  • Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
  • Hands-on ability to deliver technical projects, if necessary
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly
  • Full drivers licence and willingness to travel
